Adrian Chiles and Frank Skinner go for the Million for CAFOD

Ever dreamed of putting your knowledge to the test by taking part in a thrilling episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? British TV and radio presenters Adrian Chiles and Frank Skinner recently rose to the challenge appearing in one of the series’ final episodes to raise money for CAFOD.

Eager to help some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities, Adrian and Frank were determined to succeed. Faced with a vast range of unusual questions including world history, botany, pop stars’ language skills and world leaders’ artistic preferences the pair managed to secure a fantastic £50,000 which will be divided equally between CAFOD and the Millionaire viewer prize pot.

When Adrian was asked about his nerve-racking experience on the show he said:

“I was terrified. I was convinced we’d make nothing; Frank was sure we’d hit the jackpot. He knows lots about lots; I know absolutely everything but I can never remember any of it so that’s useless.”

Adrian has recently returned from a trip to Central America where he traveled around El Salvador and Guatemala to see the real difference CAFOD World Gifts can make to people living in poverty. He said:

“Having seen CAFOD’s work first hand though, I knew anything we made would go a long way”.
