James said:

“I’ve supported CAFOD throughout my life, but with so much going wrong in the world at the moment it’s even more important to support people in the greatest need.

“Cycling has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve got more involved since joining the San Fairy Ann Cycling Club in Kent a few years ago. Recently, I’ve cycled around Lake Geneva and northern France.”

James will be riding alongside 24,000 other people,  and so far has raised over £700 for CAFOD.

He spoke to us about how he had overcome injury to cycle in RideLondon:

“In March I came off my bike and broke my collar bone. It took eight weeks to recover, but I’ll be glad to be back on the bike on Sunday.”
