Leadership Training course for Sixth Formers
CAFOD is running a Leadership Training course for Sixth Form students. Training takes place over four Saturdays this academic year, at Romero House, CAFOD’s head office, in London SE1 (25th October, 6th December, 7th February 2015 and 18th April). Those completing the training will gain a leadership certificate which will be presented on 10th July 2015.
In order to gain the certificate the leadership skills will need to be evidenced in work done on local and global justice issues, and CAFOD aims to inspire all participants by sharing the experiences of young leaders within our partners across the globe.
The focus will be on gaining transferable leadership skills including communication, problem solving, team working, creativity, critical thinking, presenting, planning, project management, and decision making.
This FREE skills training and experience should be useful to those applying for jobs or seeking placements in higher education, and offers a great opportunity to meet other young leaders from across the South East who care about social justice.
There are only 50 places available and all completed applications should be received by Sunday 10th October.
If you are a teacher please let your Sixth Formers know!
