Want to eat tea and cake, meet new people and raise money for a good cause? Come and attend John and Freda’s annual garden party this year, in aid of CAFOD. If you are a volunteer, parishioner, or want to support CAFOD, please come along.
Where? Bexley, please get in touch for the exact address.
When? Saturday 15th June, 1- 3.30pm
This garden party has been running for several years and every time it has been a great success. John and Freda Vine from St Stephen’s Church in Bexley will ensure you are waited on, as you sit under a parasol, at one of their beautiful tables. They will be serving delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones as well as cups of tea, coffee and soft drinks.
There will even be a raffle and plants for sale.
This is a great way to support CAFOD’s important work and support our less fortunate brothers and sisters, while also having a lovely time and meeting new people. Standing in solidarity with our neighbours, especially those most in need, is one of the key principles of our faith. Attending this event and supporting CAFOD’s work is one important way you can reach out and make a real difference to the lives of some of the world’s poorest people.
Come and make some new friends and join us for a lovely time! We look forward to seeing you there.
Freda and John, from St. Stephen’s church in Bexley, have been CAFOD volunteers for many years and fundraising is one way they practice their faith, living it out through action.
