Min is a CAFOD volunteer. Here she invites you to join our Solidarity Walk as part of Pope Francis’ Share the Journey campaign.
Earlier this year, Pope Francis invited us to join his Share the Journey campaign. This is to show support for the millions forced to flee their homes be it through war, persecution, national disaster or poverty.
As part of that campaign Pope Francis calls on us as Catholics to urge world leaders to act with courage and compassion, to put the human dignity of people on the move at the heart of two crucial UN ‘compacts’. These will be agreed in September of this year.
Pope Frances’ global campaign is supported by Catholic organisations across the world. This includes CAFOD. Our ambition is to step out in solidarity with refugees and migrants and together ‘walk around the world’ – a total of 24,000 miles! Every step you take will send a message to world leaders that they too must step up.
