The Paul VI Memorial Lecture promises to be a lively panel discussion with; Rt Hon John Battle, a former minister and Labour MP, Fr Joe Komakoma, Deputy General Secretary of SECAM (Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar),Rosamund Urwin, Columnist, and Chairing the discussion Catherine Pepinster, Editor of The Tablet.
The discussion will centre around the question: What challenges do we all face today in bringing about the ‘truly universal human society’ that Pope Paul VI spoke about?
As CAFOD looks ahead in its 50th anniversary year, the Pope Paul VI Memorial Lecture brings together three leading panellists to offer insights from each of their areas of expertise – politics, media, development and the church.
