Catholic 2012 International Conference: Everbody has a Place

Catholic 2012 announce;

An International Conference: EveryBody Has a Place

at The Methodist, Westminster Central Hall London

Mon 2nd July from 10.00 – 16.00.

We would like to announce an International Conference which will explore how Disability, theology and sport speak powerfully to one another. This innovative and exciting event celebrates how eminent speakers, such as Prof John Swinton, Baroness Sheila Hollins, Dr David Jones, interweave disability, theology and sport, allowing it to inform and inspire us as the 2012 Games arrive on British soil. We are also hoping that Dr Tim Shriver, of the Special Olympics will speak about his work, bringing the full picture of disability, theology and sport to us. The conference will also include the witness of international parolympians, whose lives and witness will bring life to the words of our speakers.  Cost for the conference £ 40.00 (per person)

A poster for the conference is shown above, all are welcome to attend, places allocated by reservation only. Could we ask you to complete an ‘RSVP’ booking form and follow directives for confirming your attendance? (booking forms can be obtained through the contact details on the poster above).

There will also be an opportunity for people to share information, expertise and research, within the field of disability, theology or sport, in our ‘Space to Network’. If you would like to take advantage of this facility please enclose an abstract of your work with the booking form.
